Rendlesham Radio

About this business

Rendlesham Community Radio was born during lockdown, when it quickly became an important way for local people to communicate and pull together. With support from local companies and the Parish Council, it's now run entirely by volunteers: a dedicated team of presenters, DJs and technical people. The station broadcasts online, locally and to listeners across the country and worldwide, and is looking at a DAB licence to reach more people. Anyone with an interest in radio, from any walk of life, is welcome to get involved, and training is available. The station is funded through fundraising events and offers affordable advertising packages to local companies and organisations, with all money raised going towards running the station.
